I can’t say any better than what they have already said about the white privilege here, and the “othering” of babies and mothers of color. I will echo, though, the whole slimy weirdness regarding activism by capitalism – buy our product and we’ll donate a miserly amount of the proceeds to a cause so you can feel good about yourself …. for buying more stuff.
If they truly gave a shit they would just donate the vaccine. Not only does this “other” bodies of color it pushes the dangerous idea that we can “buy” our way of privilege. This is the same concept that is being applied to enviornmentalism today. It is all meant to make us feel less guilty about the exploiting lives that we all live.
You know I am wondering if pampers is aware that POC reside in Western nations as well..or is it only white people that are capable of saving the world…Rudyard Kipling would be so very proud.
