Last weekend, my daughter and I visited Chicago. Although I spent most of my life in a big city, for the last six years (due to job/school) I have lived in a much smaller place.
We had a good time, just absorbing the sights and sounds of the city on a hot summer day and evening.
We periodically got drenched in the sudden rainstorms, but admired the beauty left behind:
We looked up at the tall buildings, like the small town hicks we’ve become:
We had marvelous food (crabcakes with mango salsa, skillet potatoes):
Good times, good times.
